Halloween DIY – Skeleton Wall Art

I knew I had to make this skeleton wall art as soon as I saw @livinwithmb share it.

I made mine a little different. I used a chicken wire frame I had. I purchased the skull head, hands, and lantern from The Dollar Tree.

I attached the skull to the wire frame by poking two holes in the back and screwing in two small screws. I used floral wire I had on hand to wrap around the screws and attach to the frame. For the hands I just poked two small holes inserted the floral wire and used hot glue to secure the wire to the hand. I then wrapped the wire to the frame and then added more hot glue to add extra support.

Because I need to get to the on and off switch on the skull I just draped the cheese cloth over the frame.

I used rub ‘n buff in silver leaf and antique gold on the lantern. With my fingers I lightly rubbed the silver leaf on first and then I used the antique gold.
